REHWK provided a graphic from OEM marketing slides displaying multiple next-gen SKUs, which turned out to be the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 “Ada” Laptop GPU SKUs. The “GN21” series will be the name given to the NVIDIA GeForce RTX “Ada Lovelace” GPUs for mobile platforms and will have at least five SKUs. These consist of the following:

GeForce RTX 4090 (GN21-X11)GeForce RTX 4080 Ti (GN21-X9)GeForce RTX 4070 (GN21-X6)GeForce RTX 4060 Ti (GN21-X4)GeForce RTX 4060 (GN21-X2)

This isn’t the first time the mobile GPUs have leaked out. GPU IDs for several desktop and laptop NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 series graphics cards were leaked in July. None of the SKU names were confirmed in the earlier leak. However, Kopite7kimi did note that the flagship won’t be named the RTX 4080. That was accurate since the flagship will have the RTX 4090 label, it turns out. What’s more intriguing is that the list doesn’t include the RTX 4080, RTX 4070 Ti, or RTX 4050. Each GPU is identified by the “X*” identification, as disclosed by Kopite7kimi. The AD103 GPU will be used in the X11 GPUs, the AD104 in the X9, the AD106 in the X6, and the AD107 in the X4 and X2 GPUs. The leaker also disclosed that the AD106 GPUs would have a TGP of approximately 140W, while the AD103 & AD104 chips will have a TGP of 175W.

— kopite7kimi (@kopite7kimi) July 10, 2022 Regarding the naming convention, NVIDIA’s portfolio has unquestionably advanced one tier. The RTX 4090 branding will be used for NVIDIA’s next Ada AD103 GPU, which will use the same GPU core as the last-generation GeForce RTX 3080 Ti, which is now the company’s flagship laptop GPU. However, please take this information with a grain of salt since NVIDIA tends to make last-minute changes, as we have seen with the RTX 4080 12GB variant.
