During the San Diego Comic-Con, a massive amount of information was presented infront of us regarding the future of Marvel. These teasers go as far as the upcoming Phase 6. The studio also announced that it was planning a sequel to Black Panther from 2018, named as Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. Fans are on the edge of their seats with the movie’s announcement and it gets better than that. Some insiders have stated that Marvel, in cooperation with some other studio(s) is working on a Black Panther video game. Jeff Grub, an insider mentions a possible ‘Black Panther game‘. The tweet does not give us much information, however, he plans on revealing more details in an upcoming live stream scheduled for tomorrow at 11 AM ET.

Marvel seems to take advantage of this influx in hype regarding the second iteration of this series with a new game en route. Marvel showed quite a lot of interest coming in the gaming community, with the release of Marvel’s Avengers, Guardians Of The Galaxy and the upcoming Spider Man and a Wolverine game being developed. Black Panther was added to Marvel’s Avengers last year, however, he has not been seen as the main protagonist in any game. This game could introduce Black Panther into the gaming universe. As for the developer of this game, Insomniac Games may look like the obvious choice for many. However, it is to be kept in mind that they have their hands full with the upcoming Wolverine and Spider Man games. Adding unnecessary burden will not be favourable for any, therefore a different developer can be expected. As per rumours, a popular candidate could be EA. Although, many fans have their say regarding EA Games but when it comes to singleplayer titles, EA hardly lets you down. Some examples of masterpieces are Star Wars : Jedi Fallen Order, the Mass Effect series and many more. It will be interesting to see how well this game introduces T’Challa to the gaming world.
