In an early impressions video posted to LTT’s YouTube channel, Intel demoed the performance capabilities of its flagship SKU, the Arc A770 and talked about their vision with Arc in general....

For CPUs from the Skylake through Comet Lake architectures, Intel will only deliver important fixes and address security issues under the new approach. That implies that game support updates will no longer be made available to the aforementioned CPUs. The move affects all SKUs in the range, including the Core, Atom, Celeron, and Xeon CPUs.
